Delete your Spot account
You can permanently delete your Spot account and its training data from inside the app. It takes about thirty seconds, happens immediately, and cannot be undone.

Which app this is
These instructions are for Spot, the adaptive gym coaching app published by Fashizel on Google Play (package com.fashizel.spot).
How to delete your account
Open Spot on your device and follow these steps:
- On the home screen, tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Choose Settings from the menu.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete account.
- Review the summary of what will be erased, then tap Continue to delete.
- Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm.
- Tap Delete my account permanently.
Your account and data are erased straight away, and the app returns to the welcome screen. There is no grace period, no recovery window, and no copy for us to restore from. Once it is done, it is done.
If you no longer have the app installed
You do not need to reinstall Spot. Email privacy@getspotapp.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify the request and delete the account for you within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is done.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently erases all of the following:
- Your account record — your email address and the sign-in method linked to it. The account itself stops existing, so the same address can be used to sign up fresh later.
- Your profile — name, units, bodyweight, training preferences, and settings.
- Your training plans, including every plan you imported, built, or edited, and any training blocks derived from them.
- Your workout history — every logged session, set, weight, rep, and personal record.
- Any custom exercises you created.
- Your coach conversation and coach memory — the chat history and everything the coach had remembered about your training.
- Your analytics profile — the record our analytics provider holds against your email address and display name, together with the usage events attached to it. Erasure is requested automatically the moment you delete your account. Our provider processes deletions in scheduled batches rather than instantly, so this one completes over the following days.
- The copy stored on your device. Spot is local-first, so your training data lives on the phone as well as on our servers. Deleting your account clears it, and uninstalling the app removes anything Spot still holds locally.
What is kept, and for how long
We would rather state this plainly than imply we erase more than we do. After deletion, the following may persist:
- Crash diagnostics — stack traces and device details from any crashes, labelled with your account identifier only, never your name or email. Once your account is deleted that identifier no longer refers to anything, so these reports can no longer be traced back to you.
- Server operational logs, retained for up to 30 days and then purged automatically. These record that a request happened and reference the account identifier, not your training content.
- Records we are required to keep — for example transaction and tax records for any purchase you made, kept for as long as the law requires. Purchases are handled by Google Play, not by us.
- Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer be traced back to you.
If anything above still concerns you, email privacy@getspotapp.app and we will erase what we can on request.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to close your account to limit what we hold. In Settings you can turn Analytics and crash reporting off at any time, which stops any further diagnostic data being collected from your device.
To have a specific set of data removed while keeping your account, email privacy@getspotapp.app describing what you want deleted, and we will handle it manually.
