What is Spot?+
An adaptive gym coach. You bring or build a training plan; Spot logs the sets you do and proposes what to do next — heavier, more reps, or hold — so progressive overload happens on its own.
Do I need to bring my own plan?+
You can import a plan you already follow or build one in the app. Spot works with your program rather than forcing a template on you.
Will it change my plan behind my back?+
No. Your plan is sacred. Spot adapts a single session and surfaces suggestions you keep or dismiss in one tap — it never silently rewrites your program.
How does it choose weights and reps?+
Progression is deterministic — a double-progression engine reads what you actually lifted and computes the next target. The AI can refine the wording and catch context, but the numbers come from real math, not a guess.
Does it work offline?+
Yes. Spot is local-first: logging and progression run entirely on your device and sync to your account when you’re back online.
Can I add my own exercises?+
Yes. Alongside the curated library of nearly 600 exercises, you can create custom exercises and Spot will fold them into progression and coaching.
Which platforms is it on?+
Android is available now via Google Play. iOS is on the way.
Is it free?+
Spot is free to start. Any premium features will be clearly marked before you ever pay.
